Raman Research Institute: Post-doctoral Fellowships
The Raman Research Institute in Bengaluru is an autonomous institute under India's Department of Science and Technology. It offers postdoctoral fellowships with no teaching duties. The maximum duration is 3 years, with annual extensions based on internal assessment. Fellows are encouraged to take part in institute activities and collaborate with other research staff.
What you'll do
- Carry out research at RRI according to the plan in your application
- Collaborate with other research staff rather than working in isolation
- Work with the experimental research groups, where openings may exist
Who can apply
- Applicants need a PhD. Those who have not yet completed the requirements, such as a thesis defence, are paid the lower rate until they do
- Applicants submit a CV, a list of publications, a description of past research and a statement of planned research
- Applications are accepted only through the online portal
- The page strongly encourages applying through N-PDF positions, because RRI's own postdoc positions are limited
How to apply
Combine your CV, list of publications, description of previous research and statement of anticipated research into one PDF, in that order. Upload it through the application portal linked on the RRI page. Do not send applications or queries to the Director's email.
